Yaz races to get the antidote for Sammy…

Well, the idea that the campers weren’t going to stay BFFs forever is kicked straight into touch this time out, as Yaz recalls various of her interactions with Sammy as she runs across the island to find the antidote and has her own scary encounter with the Scorpius rex. Meanwhile Brooklynn and Kenji try to keep Sammy comforted (with one of the weirder moments for Kenji – I’d love to have seen actor Ryan Potter’s reaction when he read the script for this one), and Ben and Darius go to set a distraction.

There’s an unusually high level of flashbacks in this but all are warranted by their use. It’s also good to see Ben doing something that doesn’t involve Bumpy (even if it is involving property destruction and arson!) and Kenji not being quite such an idiot.

Verdict: A straightforward race against time that puts Yaz centre stage. 8/10
