The teens find the yacht in which Tiffany tried to escape – and it’s time to party…

OK, there’s no alcohol involved, but the producers of Camp Cretaceous haven’t forgotten that their lead characters are teenagers, and partying is built into their DNA. Kenji’s past hedonism means that he knows how to pilot the yacht and inevitably being Captain goes to his head, pranking Brooklynn and Darius.

It’s good to see the youngsters have some time out, but we know it’s only a matter of time before things start to go wrong, and once again, our unseen foe is responsible for herbivores not behaving as they should. (This also means that once again Darius isn’t the guru of dinosaur behaviour that he’s been in the past – something, as they note toward the end of the episode, is messing with the island.)

There’s a running gag regarding Sammy and Bumpy that pays off quickly, and even Ben seems to be more involved with the gang’s activities now that he thinks there’s a way for him to stay with his dino pal. Mist descending on the dock means that the usual runaround and dinosaur chase feels different and the tension is maintained throughout the sequence.

Verdict: A good solid episode. 7/10
