The survivors hole up at a department store, the only place safe from the undead.

Things slow down a little this week as the Wedding party survivors meet up with others who are converging on the Paymart. This includes an impaled young woman who was trying to escape a zombie with a slapping member!

Presumably this is the calm before the storm and it gives the cast the opportunity to assert where their at, with Paula and Trey sharing some particular home truths. But Paula just can’t help herself when it comes to winning the mayoral race, and a dangerous stunt backfires spectacularly.

Verdict: While not the most action-packed episode of the season to date, it’s a necessary breather in readiness for the inevitable surge of the living dead. 7/10
