Vas is heading towards the wayward cruiser in a rescue shuttle, but just how many seats are available for the return trip?

As usual, things are tense on space liner Avenue 5, with tempers more frayed than usual. Judd, in a moment of typical stupidity, fires Captain Clark, who while momentarily enjoying the release of responsibility, finds he has no credit on the ship. He’d been taking lessons in how to dock the ship (if it ever reached its final destination) but now he’s not even hiding the fact that he’s British!

And then the passengers start wondering if they are really on a ship in space. What if they are actually on Earth, and this is all an illusion (like Capricorn One), tricked by a series of special visual effects? They test out this theory, and seven frozen bodies floating in the void of space later, they realise that they really are in space. Question answered.

Verdict: With one episode to go, it looks like Vas will reach the ship in the season finale, but will Judd get a seat home? Nothing runs to plan in this ship show. 7/10
