Two close friends have their lives ripped apart when one is killed in a road accident, but death needn’t be the end.
As with the show’s premiere episode, the story they’ve resurrected here is a bit of a familiar one – it’s Ghost, but with two young girls. Tuka (Hailey Kilgore) is killed by a hit and run driver but is able to interact with her best friend friend Sterling (Emyri Crutchfield) and help track down the rogue car to a chop shop, while also encouraging her to get over her loss.
For all of its grim subject matter, it’s a fairly light piece, and while the ending is about as nonsensical as the rest of the hour, it does at least offer up some home, and only a curmudgeon would resent the characters from having this conclusion to their story.
Verdict: Sweet and inoffensive, but this show is still struggling to find its feet. 7/10
