Titan’s series based on Jo Martin’s Division Doctor continues at the pace established in its opening issue, which frankly is lacking in the sort of drive you’d expect in a comic.

The Doctor and Taslo are on Kreb at a celebratory meal, wined and dined by those they’ve been tasked to stop. Taken on a tour of the planet by leader Noat, Taslo acts recklessly and discovers a big secret. But this is really where we should have been at the end of the first issue. Whole pages are devoted the simplest of exchanges, begging the question as to whether there’s enough plot to sustain the series.

Verdict: Jo Martin’s Doctor absolutely deserves her own series, but this sluggish tale isn’t using the character anywhere near to its potential. 5/10
