Titan, out now
With Taslo revealed as a traitor, the Fugitive Doctor is forced to watch colonised planets get destroyed.
Titan’s Fugitive Doctor concludes its four-issue run, but as with the other instalments, feels like the whole story could have been covered as a one-shot or double issue.
The final issue begins promisingly enough with the Doctor in a tight spot, with a rogue Time Lord councillor pulling all the strings, but then she’s rescued pretty much immediately, leaving the rest of the issue to hit the reset button or at least undo the treachery of the previous issues. It’s just all too inconsequential, and even the coda that sets up potential further adventures falls flat.
Verdict: The potential to give the Renegade Doctor her best story yet has not been realised. The character deserves better. 5/10
