Los Angeles 2039 and a besieged Ash fights to protect the wounded Isobel from Luv and Rash.

The second arc of this final Blade Runner spinoff series concludes with an exciting standoff between the main characters, but as it’s only the conclusion of book two of three, don’t expect a significant wrap-up. If anything, this whets our appetite for the final four issues that will take us up to the Blade Runner 2049 movie.

The dialogue by Mike Johnson is used sparingly, with Andres Guinaldo doing most of the heavy lifting with some dramatic, explosive panels; it’s always great to see some of the franchise’s legacy tech in action.

Verdict: A conclusion of sorts that sets the scene for a final four issues that promise much. 8/10
