Los Angeles 2039 and Cleo has been gravely wounded in a shootout with a gang of highway raiders.
The second arc in this final run of the Blade Runner comic sequel continues with Ash and Cleo still on the run from Luv and RASH, who have found the location of the crashed spinner.
Wallace’s cronies take the pre-emptive step of beating their prey to their final destination – Isobel Selwyn.
There’s a steady pace and continued sense of urgency in this instalment, even if not that much actually happens until the end. The art and story remain at the high standard established right from the outset.
Verdict: Business as usual on a quality publication. 8/10
