Los Angeles 2039 and Ash continues her mission to assassinate the reclusive Niander Wallace, turning to the one person she believes can help her gain access to him.

After the surprise appearance of original Blade Runner, Cal Moreaux, at the end of the previous issue, we find out that he is now a powerful underworld figure. We spend time with the reunion between Ash and Cal but the bigger moments in this issue follow Luv as she tracks down her prey.

The action is dynamically conveyed by artist Guinaldo, and everything ends at one of those moments that Mike Johnson has been treating us to across the series.

Verdict: We get ever closer to the conclusion, but there’s still plenty to keep us entertained en route. 8/10
