A severe case of hypochondria

What’s the treatment for that diagnosis? Counselling? Don’t Google whatever it is that you think you have, that way madness lies – but maybe ask your girlfriend for help examining you rather than your GP? Seems legit…

Romance and humour are sprinkled through this episode, even though a furball interrupts Alfie and Lily’s ‘quality time’. She’s clearly the long-suffering partner of a person with health anxiety, something that more of us can relate to these days, having lived through the global events of the last couple of years. There’s that creepy realism that Lusus is so good at again. It taps into a common anxiety that many people will be able to relate to and picks at it like a sore scab until it bleeds into your nightmares.

Just because you might giggle during this instalment, doesn’t mean it won’t freak you out at 3am… or the next time you find a hair in your soup…

Verdict: A two-for-one deal for the monsters behind the Lusus door this time. 9/10
