Rob Grant, co-creator of Red Dwarf, has died suddenly aged 70.
The news came from Grant’s family. News had just been confirmed of a new Red Dwarf novel – a prequel, Titan – to appear later this year, co-written by Grant and Andrew Marshall.
In addition to creating Red Dwarf with Doug Naylor and penning three novels as “Grant Naylor”, Grant created The Strangerers for Sky, and collaborated with Marshall on the radio series and book The Quanderhorn Xperimentations.
