Both House of the Dragon and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms have been renewed by HBO – the latter before its first season has aired.
Casey Bloys, Chairman and CEO, HBO and HBO Max Content announced the news at the cable station’s press presentation; season 1 of A Knight will air from 18 January, coinciding with the launch of HBO Max in the UK. There was no confirmation whether season 4 of House of the Dragon will be its final run, which showrunner Ryan Condal had previously suggested.
