Fourteen years ago this weekend, the first new review was published on Sci-Fi Bulletin – a couple of archive placeholders had been used while we worked out how the site worked.

Primeval’s fifth season kicked off on Watch, and we transferred across the earlier reviews written for the now-defunct Total Sci-Fi of earlier seasons, but this review started it all off. There are now over 11,000 reviews or features on the site, and over 13,500 news stories with something new added to the site daily now for nearly five years!

My thanks, firstly, to my co-founder, Brian J. Robb – not sure we really knew what we were starting! And to all the writers who have contributed across the years, as well as all those who have been interviewed, who have supplied review material – and of course to all our readers!

SFB will be becoming an archive site in the not too distant future, but I hope it will remain of use for many years to come.
