BIg Finish has released details of the next two Torchwood releases – as well as news about the range’s future.

February’s release will be Inseparable, a Valentine’s Day special. Yvonne Hartman (Tracy-Ann Oberman) and Tommy Pierce (Tim Bentinck) must pretend to be loved up as they go undercover at a suspicious couples’ retreat.

Then, in March’s Rictus, Fenella Woolgar (Call the Midwife, Doctor Who: The Unicorn and the Wasp) makes her Torchwood debut as Princess Beatrice, Queen Victoria’s youngest daughter and the inheritor of Torchwood. It’s not an easy start to the job for her, as she comes face-to-sucker with the Zygon – a story that ties in to Big Finish’s new standalone series, Zygon Century.

Inseparable by Helen Marshall and Malcolm Devlin, due for release in February 2025

Yvonne Hartman and Tommy have gone undercover at a couples’ retreat. Will anyone buy their May to December romance? Torchwood came looking for a mysterious energy signal and instead find themselves caught in a web of troubled lovers becoming ever closer. Perhaps what Yvonne and Tommy really need is time apart from each other?

Rictus by James Goss, due for release in March 2025

1901. Six months after the death of Queen Victoria, her gung-ho daughter Princess Beatrice goes to visit the organisation she’s inherited. What is Torchwood? Meanwhile, something has broken out of a vault deep beneath London. The Smiling Man is coming.

These Torchwood stories are each available to pre-order as collector’s edition single-disc CDs (+ download for just £10.99) or digital downloads (for just £8.99), exclusively from http://www.bigfinish.com. Please note: the collector’s edition CDs are strictly limited to 1,000 copies each and will not be repressed.

From March 2025, the range will become bi-monthly, with the next Torchwood adventure (number 94) due for release in May 2025.
