Yet another version of Stephen King’s Carrie is in development, this time courtesy of Mike Flanagan.

This will be a longer form version than the other movie adaptations, with an eight episode run on Prime Video in store if the Amazon MGM Studios series goes ahead. It will be a “bold and timely reimagining” of the 1974 novel.

The 1976 movie is currently back in cinemas in the UK in the new 4K restoration.
