The series never gained the sort of cult following that the original show did, and AMC elected not to continue the tale, set 37 years after the events of Orphan Black.
Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi! 
This is sad but in some ways it wasn’t a surprise. Trying to recapture the magic of an original sci-fi series and indeed one as wonderfully popular as the original Orphan Black is no easy feat. But I can applaud a quite natural desire to try.
