The Star Wars series The Acolyte is now a one-and-done, with Lucasfilm electing not to commission a second run of the recent TV show set during the High Republic.

Although creator Leslye Headland had pitched a second season, Deadline suggests the ratings were not strong enough for Disney to invest in the expensive show.
