Any chance in comics or Big Finish for a companion to have their first encounter with a well-known villainy, certainly the Cybermen, that they didn’t have in their original time on the TV show might inevitably be the most creative challenge. Just my opinion of course. From my own childhood reflections on how monsters and individual villains like the Toymaker were most naturally appealing in Dr. Who comics at the time, I for one might still find a certain appeal even for a comic book story that’s somehow not the best that it could be. Thank you for your review.
