British actress Pamela Salem, renowned for her work on Doctor Who and Into the Labyrinth, has died aged 80.
Salem appeared in three Doctor Who stories – vocally in The Face of Evil and then as Toos in The Robots of Death and Rachel Jensen in Remembrance of the Daleks, reprising both of the latter roles in recent years for Big Finish. Her other TV genre work included Belor in Into the Labyrinth, as well as Jeanette in an episode of Out of the Unknown, Kara in Blake’s 7 and the Countess in The Tripods on TV and Miss Moneypenny in the unofficial Bond movie Never Say Never Again.
An excellent tribute has been posted on the Big Finish website.
