The 2024 Saturn Awards saw a wide spread of films and TV programmes nominated, with Avatar: The Way of Water and Star Trek: Picard winning most awards in their respective media.

Avatar: The Way of Water won 4 of the 12 for which it was nominated – Best Science Fiction Film, Best Film Direction, Best Film Writing and Best Film Special/Visual Effects – with Barbie, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny and Oppenheimer each winning 3. Harrison Ford and Margot Robbie gained Best Actor/Actress.

Star Trek: Picard was nominated for 7 awards and won 4: Best Science Fiction TV Series, Best Actor (Patrick Stewart), Best Supporting Actor (Jonathan Frakes) and Best Supporting Actress (Jeri Ryan).

The cast of Star Trek: The Next Generation also received the Lifetime Achievement Award
