Hinton Battle, who played the demon Sweet in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer musical episode Once More, With Feeling, has died aged 67.
He also played Thames (the Evil Leaper’s Observer) in the original Quantum Leap and the Cat in the first pilot for Red Dwarf USA, as well as originating the role of the Scarecrow for The Wiz on stage.
