The next in BBC Studios’ series of Doctor Who animations is materialising at the BFI in March.
The BFI’s Justin Johnson confirmed on social media that The Celestial Toymaker will get a big screen premiere on Sat 2 March midday, with tickets going on sale on 6 February to BFI members and 8 February to everyone else. No date as yet has been revealed for the serial’s release, although these previews normally aren’t that far ahead.

It’s nice that this particular Whoniversal villain is getting some refreshed recognition thanks to Neil Patrick Harris’ revitalization of the role. And of course the wonders of Whoniversal animation.
