Jonathan Majors will no longer be playing Kang for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, following his conviction on an assault charge.

Although it’s not the sort of story we usually cover on SFB, the upheaval to plans for the MCU will be immense. Deadline noted, “A studio rep confirmed the news about their decision to not move forward with Majors in the MCU.” Majors had had significant screen time in both series of Loki, as well as Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and was set to headline the Avengers feature The Kang Dynasty. As yet, Marvel has not revealed what their Plan B will be…
