Stephen Kandel, who contributed scripts to both the original Star Trek and its animated sequel, has died aged 96.
Although perhaps best known to genre fans for his creation of Harcourt Fenton “Harry” Mudd, who appeared in two episodes of the original series and an animated Trek, Kandel’s career spanned many series. including the Adam West Batman, The Wild Wild West, Mission: Impossible, a second non-Mudd episode of the Animated Star Trek, The Bionic Woman, Wonder Woman, Man From Atlantis, The Six Million Dollar Man, The Amazing Spider-Man, Time Express, Supertrain and A Man Called Sloane,
