Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

The proposed Star Wars series focusing on Lando Calrissian – as played by Donald Glover in the prequel, Solo – looks like it’s going to be a movie.

Lucasfilm confirmed the change in medium to Variety, after Stephen Glover made reference to it on the Pablo Torre podcast. “It’s not even a show…the idea right now is to do a movie. Right now, because of the strike, it’s kind of like telephone, all of the information.”

Donald Glover mentioned the project to GQ in April: “I would love to play Lando again. It’s a fun time, being him. It just has to be the right way to do it.”
