Although there’s still hope for a live action new version of J. Michael Straczynski’s Babylon 5, the show’s creator has confirmed that an animated movie is on the way.

Full details will be released on May 10th although the image released with the tweet notes that the script is, as expected, by Straczynski. In a later tweet he explained, “It was essential to keep it quiet because SF fans in general are some of the most exploited folks out there, too often hyped with kickstarters that don’t work or promises that dematerialize so we took a blood oath to keep this quiet until it was literally ready to go out the door.”
