There were a load of updates for fans of the Star Wars TV shows at Star Wars celebration – not least that the period of The Mandalorian is going to feature in a big screen outing from Dave Filoni (click here for details).

Ahsoka arrives on August 24, with a full trailer airing. Rosario Dawson reprises her role as the former Jedi knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy. The show also stars Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren and Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla with Ray Stevenson.

The second and final season of Andor is currently shooting, with the series aiming for an August 2024 release. A trailer was shown for the benefit of convention attendees, but has yet to be officially released. “We know exactly where we’re going so you know what you have to deliver,” Tony Gilroy said. “It was a decision born of survival, but it’s been creatively potent. We’re very pleased, it’s good to know there’s an ending coming.”

A teaser trailer was also shown from The Acolyte, which is shooting in London. The series stars Carrie-Ann Moss with Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung-jae, Manny Jacinto, Dafne Keen, Charlie Barnett, and Joonas Suotamo.

The teaser for Skeleton Crew also got an airing. Episodes of the Jude Law-starring show will be directed by Jon Watts, David Lowery, The Daniels, Jake Schreier, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Lee Isaac Chung.
