Oscar-winning production designer Norman Reynolds has died 89.
Reynolds was art director on the first two Superman movies as well the first of the Star Wars movies, and then became production designer for the other parts of the original Star Wars trilogy. He carried out the same role on Raiders of the Lost Ark, and multiple other classic genre movies including Return to Oz, Young Sherlock Holmes, Alien 3, the first Mission: Impossible, Sphere and Bicentennial Man.
