As part of the Star Wars Celebration currently running in London, Lucasfilm announced a new tranche of big screen movies, including the return of Daisy Ridley as Rey.

Rey appears in the movie directed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, and written by Steven Knight, which sees Rey build a new Jedi Order 15 years after The Rise of Skywalker.

James Mangold and Dave Filoni are also helming movies; Mangold’s is about the first Jedi, while Filoni’s is set between the original and sequel trilogies – the period of The Mandalorian.
