The animated Batman: Caped Crusader series – seen as a spiritual successor to the Bruce Timm Batman series of the 1990s – has a new home: Amazon.

A two season order has been given to the show from J.J. Abrams, Matt Reeves and Timm, according to THR, with 10 episodes in the first season. Like many other projects, it was originally intended for HBO Max before the Warner Bros. Discovery reorganisation.
