The HBO Max Batman spin-off The Penguin has added Clancy Brown to the cast as Salvatore Maroni.
Maroni was mentioned in The Batman but not seen. Colin Farrell reprises his role as Oswald Cobblepot – aka the Penguin – for the series which follows on from the Matt Reeve movie, with Cristin Milioti, Rhenzy Feliz, Michael Kelly, Shohreh Aghdashloo, and Deirdre O’Connell. The eight episode series is being written and showrun by Lauren LeFranc with Reeve directing the first three instalments.
