Although a number of genre productions were on the shortlist for the 2023 BBC Audio Drama Awards, only Anton Lesser’s performance in Marietta Kirkbride’s One Five Seven Years has reached the finalists.

This year’s awards are designed to celebrate the centenary of audio/radio drama at the BBC, and are dedicated “to the creativity of actors, writers, directors, producers, musicians, sound designers and all who work in this vibrant art-form”.

The winners will be announced on Sunday 19 March 2023 at a ceremony in the Radio Theatre at BBC London Broadcasting House. The full list of finalists can be found here.
