The proposed TV adaptation of Stephen King’s Billy Summers will now be a theatrical movie.
The King novel about a hitman’s last job was originally being marketed as a limited series, but Warner Bros. are developing it as a film. Ed Zwick and Marshall Herskovitz are penning the screenplay for Bad Robot and Leonardo DiCaprio’s Appian Way, leading Deadline to suggest JJ Abrams could direct DiCaprio in the movie.
