The Torchwood love trilogy continues in March with Tom Price’s Thirst Trap.

Policeman Andy Davidson (Tom Price) becomes all-consumed in a chaotic romance with council worker Anna (played by Olivier Award-winner Rebecca Trehearn). Meanwhile, Torchwood’s Rhys Williams (Kai Owen) is acting very strangely…

You have 20 minutes to find your perfect mate. Then you may never see them again. Now or Never has launched in Cardiff and something’s clearly very wrong with the app.

Not only is everyone going on dates, but everyone’s on the same date. The same meals. The same hobbies. The same small talk.

Andy Davidson would be investigating. But he’s got a date.

Writer Tom Price said: “I always thought writing an episode of Torchwood for Big Finish – where Andy goes on a ludicrous and exciting adventure around a self-destructing Cardiff – would be super-easy and take an hour or so to do.

“Long story short: once I got to month three of this process, I started to get incredibly excited about the Torchwood fans hearing the episode. It’s got Rhys on the run, Andy on a date, and Cardiff on heat. What more could you want?”

Kai Owen added: “It’s joyous, funny and brilliant – as is only to be expected from Tom Price! More Rhys and Andy, please, as any scene with these two is a joy. And definitely more of Andy and Anna. I’m a massive fan of Rebecca Trehearn. She’s fantastic!”

Rebecca Trehearn said: “Anna is very efficient and is terrific at her high-powered executive job. Then we get to see this delightful other side of her when she comes under the influence of the app. I’ve particularly enjoyed the banter between Anna and Andy. Opposites attract!”

Torchwood contains adult material and may not be suitable for younger listeners.

Torchwood: The Thirst Trap, also written by Tom Price, is available to pre-order for just £10.99 (collector’s edition 1-disc CD + download) or £8.99 (download only), from www.bigfinish.com.
