The new TV adaptation of Never Let Me Go isn’t moving forward at FX.

Deadline broke the news that the proposed series to star Viola Prettejohn is now dead in the water. Other proposed cast were  Tracey Ullman, Kelly Macdonald, Aiysha Hart, Spike Fearn, Shaniqua Okwok, Gary Beadle, Kwami Odoom, Susan Brown, Keira Chanse, and Edward Holcroft. Melissa Iqbal’s take on the Kazuo Ishiguro novel was ordered to series in October 2022.
