The latest incarnation of Let the Right One In has reached a speedy conclusion, with the decision by Showtime to cancel the TV version after one season.
It comes amid a major shake up of Showtime and Paramount+ which will see the network rebranded to reflect the Paramount+ name. The series was based on the novel by John Ajvide Lindqvist and its 2008 Swedish film version.
“We are extremely proud of this series and of the outstanding work by Demián Bichir, Madison Taylor Baez, Anika Noni Rose, our showrunner Andrew Hinderaker and his fellow executive producers, and the entire cast and crew. We would like to thank all of them and our partners at Tomorrow Studios, and we wish everyone the best going forward,” Showtime said in a statement.
