Annie Wersching, best known for her roles on 24 and Star Trek Picard, has died aged 45,

She was already diagnosed with cancer when she took the role of the Borg Queen for season 2 of Picard; one of her earliest credited roles was on Star Trek Enterprise. Her other genre work included Birds of Prey, Angel, Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries, Timeless and Marvel’s Runaways.
