There were a few surprises at the return of the Golden Globes on January 10, and genre films and TV didn’t do as well as some had expected.

Game of Thrones spin-off House of the Dragon won Best TV Drama, while Everything Everywhere All at Once scored wins for Michelle Yeoh and Ke Huy Quan. Angela Bassett also took home Best Supporting Actress for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio was Best Animated Feature.
