Stephen Greif, who played Roj Blake’s implacable opponent Travis for the first season of Blake’s 7, has died, aged 78.
The news was announced by his agent. In addition to Blake’s 7, he also appeared in The Persuaders, The New Avengers, Return of the Saint, Hammer House of Mystery and Suspense, Space Precinct, and Doctor Who’s The Infinite Quest. He reprised the role of Travis for various audios for Big Finish.

Another of Blake’s 7’s stars has sadly departed this Earth. I first saw Stephen in two episodes of Brian Clemens’ Thriller. He will be missed.
