Big Finish’s Ninth Doctor Adventures are among the audios recognised in the new Audio Drama Awards shortlist.
The BBC Audio Drama Awards celebrate the range, originality and cut-through quality of audio drama on air and online and give recognition to the creativity of actors, writers, producers, sound designers and others who work in this genre. The winners will be announced on Sunday 19 March 2023 in a ceremony in the Radio Theatre at BBC Broadcasting House London.
One Five Seven Years by Marietta Kirkbride and Who is Aldrich Kemp? by Julian Simpson are among the nominees for Best Original Series or Serial.
Anton Lesser is up for Best Actor for his performance in One Five Seven Years.
Hannah Khalique-Brown is nominated for The Marc Beeby Award for Best Debut Performance for her role in Neil Brand’s War of Words.
Doctor Who: the Ninth Doctor Adventures by Tim Foley is among the nominees for Best Podcast Audio Drama.
Caleb Knightley and Jenni Burnett’s work on Harland is nominated for Best Use of Sound.
