It’s being reported that Doctor Who, Blake’s 7 and Star Cops writer Chris Boucher has died aged 79.
He created Star Cops for BBC Two in 1987, having previously been the writer of Doctor Who: The Face of Evil, The Robots of Death, and The Image of the Fendahl, and the script editor of Blake’s 7. He penned four novels for the BBC’s Past Doctor range as well as scripts for the Kaldor City range.

Chris was a uniquely talented sci-fi writer. He will be greatly missed.
