The second box set in the brand-new series of The Eleventh Doctor Chronicles is due for release in February 2023 and Big Finish have now unveiled some story details for All of Time and Space starring Jacob Dudman as the 11th Doctor and Safiyya Ingar as Valarie Lockwood.

There’s a story told throughout the universe. From the dawn of history to its dying days, you’ll find someone telling it. The story of the traveller in the blue box. The story of the Doctor.  No one knows the power of stories more than the Doctor who has been in so many. But for Valarie, this is all new. Mr Foreman owns a junkyard. He doesn’t get many visitors. In fact, all anyone ever seems interested in is Barbara.  One woman informs Mr Foreman she knows the truth about Barbara, that she went on impossible adventures with a man called the Doctor. This woman, this Valarie, will do anything to be reunited with Barbara and the Doctor. Even if it kills her.

Producer Alfie Shaw said “We’re now entering the era of the Doctor and Valarie and we’re getting into the bulk of their travelling with adventures that aren’t directly interlinked.

“I was looking for stories that were weird, different and out there that would be more experimental. The opening episode, All of Time and Space, just ticked all of those boxes beautifully. The ‘meta’ nature of it really appealed to me.

“In The Yearn, Valarie is starting to open up and is ready to establish relationships with people beyond the Doctor. I really like what Angus has done in this story. It’s beautifully written.

“Curiosity Shop is a wonderful, character-driven piece. There’s humour, an exploration of the Doctor, and we’re using the fact that Valarie is cybernetically-enhanced in different ways.”
