Diane Ademu-John will no longer be co-showrunner on the Dune prequel TV series, although she will remain as an executive producer.
Alison Schapker will now be sole showrunner as the HBO Max series enters production. Johan Renck is also executive producing the series, and directing the opener. Emily Watson, Shirley Henderson and Travis Fimmel star in the series, set 10,000 years before the events of the first book and the movies.
