Another of George RR Martin’s stories is getting the screen treatment.

The author has confirmed that the short story The Ice Dragon is heading to screens in animated form. It follows a winter child, Adara, who bonds with an ice dragon and uses it to bring peace. David Anthony Durham will be penning the screenplay based on the 1978 tale which Warner Bros. Animation are tackling.
