British actor Leslie Phillips has died aged 98.
In his long career, Phillips appeared in a number of genre productions – including as the voice of the Sorting Hat in the Harry Potter series and on audio for Big Finish. Other genre appearances included the 2001 Tomb Raider movie, the 1958 Invisible Man series, as Mr Tumnus in the British cast of The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe animation, Super Gran, The Canterville Ghost, Tales from the Crypt, and the radio version of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.
