Yahya Abdul-Mateen II is being lined up to take the lead in the new Disney+ series Wonder Man, coming from Destin Daniel Cretton and Andrew Guest.

Deadline broke the news that the Aquaman/Watchmen star is heading over to the MCU for the series about Simon Williams, initially a foe of The Avengers, but eventually a key ally.
