Andy Serkis and Jonathan Cavendish’s company are working with Urban Myth Films on the new version of Robin Hardy’s classic, according to Deadline. According to War of the Worlds’ Overman, the series will “explore the same themes of sacrifice, superstition and ritual that were at [the original’s] core.” Cavendish described the new take as “a bold, shocking and unique series, pulling the themes and terrifying power of the original Wicker Man into a thrilling modern setting,”
