Sony’s Marvel movies continue with Jonás Cuarón set to direct Bad Bunny (aka Benito A Martínez Ocasio) in a movie centred around Spider-Man foe El Muerto.

The movie will follow antihero El Muerto as he prepares to receive the superpowers passed down in his wrestling family. The character – Juan-Carlos Sánchez – first appeared in Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man #6 by Peter David and Roger Cruz. The movie will mark the first Latino superhero headlining a movie.
