James Cameron’s Avatar gets a makeover and fresh release, preparing audiences for the first of the many sequels coming our way… eventually.

I thought it was a simple space-bound re-hashing of a familiar story that just happened to have a lot of gorgeous special FX but no depth. And I couldn’t have been more wrong.
